Start going down the ‘real estate lead generation and conversion’ rabbit hole, and you’ll see all kinds of ads and articles about this cool free method or some cool tool with the ‘latest loopholes’.
Does some of it work?
Probably! And YES I find tons of 'latest loopholes' BUT …it’s only short term gains.
Here's A Super Short Punch List of 'Loopholes' in Real Estate I've Discovered and What My Competitors Have Knocked Off:
- YouTube SEO Video Backlinks: We used software like TrafficGysers to rank YouTube videos in Google Search Engine.
- Buying Undervalued YouTube Channels: Years ago, I figured out how to buy YouTube channels. Why would I buy it? Simple! If a channel had a few thousand views I would buy it for a few bucks and then put my YouTube video on the channel. I wanted to rank in the description and that would rank my videos.
- Twitter Using Bots: I was the first in the industry to use 'bots' to leave targeted comments until the tool was no longer effective.
And the list goes on...
If you rely on that and something changes …you don’t have a business. You have a ‘lead source’ that’s supported by an unsustainable gimmick. Ask me how I know that! HA!
And that is a waste of time. If you want to waste time... go play some Pokemon. I hear it’s more fun and you’ll get some exercise.
